Columbia Firehouse - Five Alarm Fire on your Taste Buds | Alex, VA

Columbia Firehouse - Five Alarm Fire on your Taste Buds | Alexandria, VA

The Columbia Firehouse is housed in an 126-year-old building that used to be the old town fire station, Columbia firehouse is dishing out locally sourced fare in two different dining rooms. no matter what your taste buds crave, the team behind tallula, eatbar and evening
star café has a dish for you. choose to dine in either the classic chophouse upstairs or casual bistro on the ground level,
whet your appetite with a house-made rickey, fizz or regional microbrew, then put out the hunger pangs with blue crab
hushpuppies or oyster po' boys. and should you choose to let that hunger build to a five-alarm blaze, just wait a few weeks.
patience has its payoffs; the soon-to-debut upstairs dining room features dishes like steak tartare with carmelized onion
aoli and spicy cheddar "chz-its," chesapeake waterman's stew, and fresh local oysters from dragon creek aqua farm.
