In what seems to be a un ending stream of new venues popping up in the U street corridor. The floodgates have opened and coming down the stream is the U Street Music Hall.
The U Street Music Hall, is a space that is meant for you to party. With a minimal decor its ready for DJ nights and heavy dance floor anthems. You may remember this venue as the former Cue Bar and Lounge. Now under new management, the venue now features polished concrete floors and DJ/stage set up similar to Recess Lounge DC.
The bar runs just about the entire length of the venue. You can order your choice liqours or choose from various drafts that are on tap. The also feature a small menu that will satisfy your stomach's desires. The sound systems pumps similar to that of Fly with heavy bass and thousands of watts of power. They will need that power when DJ Will Eastman of Bliss fame along with DJ Jesse Tittsworth from Baltimore will command the dancefloor on certain nights. You can be certain that the best of DC's underground music scene will be rotating throught the venue.
