Bourbon Steak DC - Opening - 12.19.2008
Where in DC can you get superb food and exceptional views? OK, so the answer is a lot of places, but where else can you get food from the top chef Michael Mina other than bourbon steak, opening next week in the District.
Located inside the four seasons, the views inside the space are something to marvel. New York's the Rockwell group designed the interior to reflect the stateliness of the hotel under the direction of managing chef Michael Mina . like it's other locations in Miami, Detroit and Scottsdale
In the kitchen you will find executive chef David Varley giving bourbon steak contemporary American fare focusing on seasonal ingredients, along with a strong emphasis on the meat.
Savor one of the all-natural, organic beef selections (like kobe ribeye cap), or save room for Hawaiian ono, red wine-braised oxtail and foie gras. For those power-hungry patrons, bourbon steak is the first mina resto to offer lunch. Think butter-poached maine lobster with butternut squash, pumpkin seeds and black truffles, served with warm brioche. Delish!
