Join us as we bring you the images from a decade of travel by the man who considers himself a citizen of the world, Steve Martin.
Born and raised in Virgin Islands, at an early age Steve developed an intense curiosity about the planet. Upon completion of graduate school he made it his mission to indefinitely explore this deep interest to travel. His passion about photography seemed to be a perfect mate to his new adventures, making his experience richer and more rewarding as years passed. It’s been a decade since the day he purchased his 1st SLR film camera and a one-way ticket to backpack around Europe.
The pieces in this collection represent ten years of predominantly solo globetrotting through Southeast Asia, the Caribbean, the Middle East and Europe. The collection reflects the cultural, topographical and urban architectural diversity encountered throughout the artist’s life of travel.
The evening will feature live trumpet performance by Joseph Brotherton.
