★ABOUT:The largest social event of the year... where Beauty meets the Beast, where Power and Players cross, where Sex & Sexy can describe almost anything on or around the Polo Fields or our awarding winning fashion show--- this s the exciting sport of Polo - This is the Land Rover America's Polo Cup!
When the United States hosts AUSTRALIA May 2009, CAPITOL POLO CLUB will be the site of a spectacular convergence of cultures. Among the Americans and Australians in attendance, you’ll find visiting dignitaries, elected representatives, United Nations
members, fashion lovers, horse fanciers, polo fans, and music devotees, all with one thing in common. A desire to be part of a world-class celebration.
The Land Rover America’s Polo Cup will benefit the Journey for the Cure, a non-profit 501 (c)(3)-(D) Charitable Foundation supporting local charitable organizations throughout the Capitol Region, with a emphasis on MS & Leukemia science grants for Research & Development of new drugs to find cures.
The Cup has grown to be the most famous and prestigious invitation competition in the sport, opening a new chapter for this exciting game whose earliest written accounts date back more than 2,500 years and will soon be re-introduced to the Olympics as part of our ongoing mission.
The Land Rover America's Polo Cup is proud to call Capitol Polo Club in Potomac, Maryland, the new awarded home to this amazing day of fun, music, wine & polo.
