According to sources Christian A. the actual brain child behind the brand and its many spin offs along with companies is coming into town for the launch of the new store. Having worked with the company many times in the past few years, you have to truly admire the empire that Chrisitan has created for himself. After the Georgetown location's launch the afterparty will move to The Park.

These are the same class gents that held the amazing rooftop party at the Beacon Hotel, that had the entire city a buzz with amazing tunes and a beautiful backdrop for the party. This time they are at again with their first DJ series at Napoleon in the Adams Morgan District.

You truly have to applaud these two guys for what they are doing with the DC nightlife scene. From hosting truly inventive events at yogurt shops to hotels, they are truly stepping outside the box. With their Better Days event series they will be hosting events at different venues, and using different DJs for each unique event.

The Hoop Dreams Scholarship Fund is hosting a island themed event for just in time this winter "Island of Dreams" is scheduled for Harry's Tap Room, this Thursday from 7PM - 11PM and is boasts a great evening of food, friends and activities. The ticket price of $75, in advance purchase, or $85 at the door will 100% go to benefit the Hoop Dreams Scholarship Fund.

Susie Kay, Founder and President of Hoop Dreams Scholarship Fund, has made it possible for over 1,000 students of DC make it
to college when they might have otherwise not been able to afford it, or have study skills to even apply. Hoop Dreams is not about basketball, as the name may aptonymically imply. The non-profit is about creating networks, relationships and preparing students through mentoring, career development, and programs to help with SAT testing. By providing resources to DC students it prepares them for professional relationships and to be familiar with being active within the community, skills that are valuable well beyond just achieving a post-secondary education.As the event suggests: "Feel Like Doing Some Good?" DC Coast Teams up with Local K Street Venues

As many lounges and resturants have seen a drastic downturn in attendance at their venues in the past few months. Many lounges have decided to join forces with local resturants in hopes to draw more patrons into their venues.

In the past few months DC's top lounge of 2008 Josephine Lounge recently partnered with Mio Resturant to offer party goers a venue to dine of fine cusine before hitting the lounge for the night.

Now DC Coast has taken that concept one step further with its neigbhoors on K street. When you dine at DC Coast on Valentine Day with a prix fixe meal priced at $50 after 9:30 p.m. After finish dining they will issue you VIP passes to the lounges and clubs that in walking distance of the venue. Another new restaurant has popped up on the popular Wisconsin Ave. in Glover Park. This Southern comfort food themed resturant is headed by Georgetown social scene fixture Fritz Brogan and his partner Restaurateur Mauricio Fraga-Rosenfeld. It was seems to be another Trump move from Mauricio and company. After closing doors to the Ceviche resturant after new years Mauricio decided to remodel the space with exposed brick and rustic barn wood to line the walls. The down home feel of the space is only amplified by the addition of John Deere tractor seats as bar stools at the bar.

Kitchen is a two-story neighborhood restaurant in Glover Park serving Southern comfort foods and Southern themed drinks. Executive Chef Brandon Williams formerly of Jaleo has created a dinner and brunch menu featuring delicious and filling foods at affordable prices. Kitchen is open for brunch at 11am every Saturday and Sunday and at 5pm Monday-Friday.

The Kitchen is owned by Mauricio Fraga-Rosenfeld and Fritz Brogan the same owners behind the popular Gin and Tonic spot, Kitchen actually opened in January 2009. The old Ceviche was redesigned by Christy Schlesinger of Frank Schlesinger Architects, which now has space for 70 designers.

Working on the grill, the team has placed Brandon Williams a five-year veteran of Jaleo in Bethesda as head chef. The venue will serve dinner daily and offer a amazing brunch on the weekends.
